This tile was adapted from a design for a book cover that Dard Hunter created during his time at Roycroft. We think it looks great with the Bell Flower and the Little Journeys designs, also created during that period.
William Joseph “Dard” Hunter (1883-1966) was primarily devoted to the study of papermaking. His designs for the Roycroft community in East Aurora, New York, helped define the Arts & Crafts movement in America. His art and design has been an ongoing inspiration to us.
Actual tile size: 3-13/16″ x 7-13/16″
Tiles are approximately 5/8″ thick and have a notch in the back for hanging unframed.
